This event would not have happened without our team of volunteer organizers. Below are each organizers' biography and contact information.
KRISTEN KLEM
Kristen Klem has been organizing events in Philadelphia since 2006, starting off with the Trans Party, which was held at both TPDS and Tavern on Camac. Soon after she took to the turntables, learning how to DJ from mentors within the women's community. Since hitting the decks, she has organized events such as Get Some and Common Ground and has recently expanded her horizons to the Women's Fall Festival. Kristen hopes to not only bring her knowledge of event organization, but also her love of the fall season, to create a successful annual event for women.
KRISTEN LEAHEY
Kristen Leahey moved to Philadelphia two years ago and has embarked on a Women Owned custom furniture/woodworking business. She apprenticed under a mater woodworker in Pottstown and since has opened her own business. She brings her woodworking and entrepreneurship skills to the Women's Fall Festival, bringing the crowd a custom built stage, put together the day of. She hopes to assist other women minority businesses get off to a good start by coordinating the vendors for this event.
ERIN FOX
Erin Fox brings great experience and knowledge to the Women's Fall Festival. Erin started out big, organizing events with LadyFest in NYC. She has a vast knowledge of women advocacy groups, musicians, and brings her biggest asset, marketing, to the group. She went to school for architecture and has assisted with local events such as the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. She is co-owner with Kristen Leahey of Leahey and Fox Custom Cabinetry & Furniture. She continues her work with the Women's Fall Festival and also assists with organizing other events in the Philadelphia area.
WENDI DOROFEE
Wendi Dorofee is the lead graphic designer for the Women's Fall Festival, but her contributions don't stop there. She assists with all planning and fundraising events and has donated 100% of her free time to promoting this event. Wendi graduated from Rosemont College with a BFA in graphic design and also completed a graphic design masters program in Florence, Italy. She works as a designer full time as well as freelance. She has designed all promotional materials for this event.
JESSICA CUBACHATTI
Jessica Cubachatti, also known as DJ Just Jess, moved to Philadelphia six years ago and has taken over and changed the women's DJ scene in the metro area. Playing at the biggest venues in the city, Jessica has worked her way up the ladder to becoming one of Philadelphia's hottest women DJ's. Her knowledge of music doesn't stop with turntables, she grew up on the drums and piano, playing in several bands from New Orleans to Philadelphia. Her extensive knowledge of music landed her as stage manager for the Women's Fall Festival, bringing you the best local women musicians and DJs.
